Some previous report informed that Sony would not adopt Omni Balance design. The company has been using the design since 2013. However, now a newly leaked information informed that Sony is now working on some full-screen display smartphones and some images of two upcoming smartphones of Sony spotted online, and it is said that launch in the next year.
As per the images, the new devices are carrying a looks and design is different from the other Xperia smartphone models. The device comes with less rounded corners and has a two-tone design for its back panel. On the upper curved matte portion, the device has two large-sized camera sensors, and there is a LED flash between the two cameras. The remaining portion looks glossy and beautiful. As per the images, the major portion on the front of the device is occupied by the full-screen display and comes with very thin bezels. It carries dual front-facing speakers.
It is said that the new device will come with a 5.5-inch full-screen display and it will give a 4K resolution. Under its hood, it will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It is expected that the device will come with a 6 GB of RAM and will offer 128 GB of internal storage capacity. As it will be the latest flagship device of Sony which will come in 2018, the device will have Android Oreo 8.0 OS. The fingerprint scanner will be fitted under the display that means it may carry an under display fingerprint scanner. Rumors also said that it would be the upgraded version of the Xperia XZ Premium. The other features of the device are still unknown. The company has not given any official information about the device.
It is expected that the company will reveal the devices in the Mobile World Congress (WMC) event which will be held in February 2018.
