Xiaomi recently released it’s 18:9 display device the Mi Mix 2 and it is the only device of the company that has such aspect ratio. A few days ago some leaked information informed that the company would introduce two more smartphones with 18:9 display, i.e., the Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5. The report also stated that one of the devices would be introduced on 30th November. Now a new report has come to the front, and this time some leaked images and specifications of the device have spotted online. This information is leaked by China Telecom. A Twitter user, Roland Quandt has posted about this on his twitter account. It stated-

As per the leaked images, the device comes with the Gold color variant. If observed, the design is quite similar to the Redmi Note 4X. Now, about the front design, it comes with a full-screen display and less bezel. At the top of the device, there is an IR blaster and 3.5 mm audio jack. There are the micro USB port and speaker. On the left side, it carries SIM tray.
Expected specifications and features-
The device may come with a 5.7-inch display, with 18:9 aspect ratio it will give 1440 x 720-pixel resolution. As per the leaked information, the device will have the MSM8953 Lite processor. As per the given model, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor but the word Lite makes it more confusing. The clock speed will be 1.8GHz. For photography, it will come with a 12 MP rear camera, and on the rear, it will have a 5MP camera. In software section, the device will come with Android Nougat 7.1.2 and MIUI 188.8.131.52. The device will be backed by a 3300mAh battery. It is expected that the device will carry a price tag of 139 Yuan, in the dollar, it will be around $212.
