Xiaomi is all set to release it two new devices named the Redmi 5 and the Redmi 5 Plus on 7th December. Even though the devices are yet to be announced officially, some leaked information has been informed about its possible design. A few days ago a Twitter user posted some leaked images of the Xiaomi Redmi 5. After that Xiaomi released a teaser which informed that the device would be officially launched on 7th December. But now a new report has just come in. As per the latest report, the Redmi 5 has now received its TENAA certification. After the TENAA certification, the company can sell the device in China. As it found listed in TENAA, the website has also revealed some images of the device along with some specifications.
Going to be unveiled in next week, the device comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display and will give 1440 x 720-pixel resolution. This will be a full screen display under affordable price. The aspect ratio will be 18:9. As per the information, the device will come with an Octa-Core 1.8GHz processor. If it is true, then it will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor because as per It is the only SoC which gives 1.8GHz clock speed. The device may come with three different RAMs and ROMs configurations like 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64 GB ROM. The device will also support expandable storage facility. It is expected that the device will come with either an 8 MP camera or a 12 MP camera on the rear side. On the front, it will carry a 5MP camera. The device will be running on Android Nougat 7.1.2 along with MIUI, and maybe it will come with the updated MIUI 9 version. The device may be powered by a 3200mAh battery. It will carry a price tag of Yuan 999.
