Xiaomi’s next most anticipated device is the Redmi Note 5. Many leaked information and images have been given some expected features and specifications of the device. Now a new report has given a hint about its release date. As per the latest information, the device will be launched in January 2018. The company has not revealed any details about the device officially till now. But leaked images of the device show that it will come with al all screen display design and will carry very fewer bezels on the front.
As per some leaked information, the device will have a 5.99 inch Full HD captive display which will offer 2160×1080 pixel resolution. The device will come with the standard 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device may carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The clock speed will be 2.0GHz. The device may also have a GPU. The Redmi Note 5 will come with two different RAM and ROMs. It will be available with a 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM, and with a 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Coming to its camera section, the device may come with a 12 MP camera on its rear side and a 5 MP camera on its front side. It is also said that the device may come with the dual front camera set up.
The device is expected to be backed by a massive 4000mAh battery which will give up to 72 hours of standby time. It will run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and MIUI 9.
Under the connectivity, the device will come with VoLTE, WCDMA, GSM, WCDMA, FDD LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n network, GPS, and dual SIM with dual standby.
A few days ago the device was found listed on an online retailer’s website, and it was carrying a price tag of $199. The listing had revealed that the size of the device is 158.5mm x 75.5mm x 8.05mm, and weight is 179g. The device comes with Multi-Color-Option.
