Vodafone Collaborates With Itel Mobile, Offers A 4G Smartphone at Rs 1,590

Vodafone India has partnered with Itel Mobiles to offer cashback on the latest Itel A20 smartphone. The telecom operator made this announcement and said that the users will get a cashback of Rs 2,100 on the smartphone, which will make the effective cost of the phone Rs 1590 from its actual cost of Rs 3690.

Under this new partnership, Vodafone and Itel customers will have to buy the Itel A20 smartphone at Rs 3,690, and recharge with Vodafone plan of Rs 150 or above in a month for a total period of 18 months. The customers can either recharge one a time or do a cumulative recharge.  In the end of 18 months, the customers will get a cashback of Rs 900. Besides this, the customer will have to recharge again for another 18 months in order to get the additional cashback of Rs 1,200. Thus, this makes the effective cost of the phone Rs 1,590.

The customers can avail this offer till March 31, 2018. The cashback will be credited to the users M-Pesa wallets. Coming to the specifications of the phone, the Itel A20 comes with a 4 inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. In terms of memory, the device comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Itel A20 sports a 2 mega pixel camera in the rear side and in the front, the device sports a VGA shooter. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is backed by a 1700mAh battery. The company claims that the battery offers 5 hours of talk time on 4G network. In terms of other connectivity options, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Dual-SIM and micro USB port.

Notably, this is not the first time that Vodafone has partnered with a smartphone company. Earlier, the company had partnered with Micromax to offer cashback of select smartphones including Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3, Bharat 4, Canvas 1 and Bharat 2 Ultra.
