Few months ago, Vivo had signed a strategic six-year contract with FIFA, including the World Cup Tournaments in Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022. As a part of the contract, the company introduced the X20 FIFA World Cup edition today for its Vivo customers, football fans and the staff of FIFA as well.
The Vivo X20 FIFA World Cup edition is basically meant to be the official phone of all the FIFA officials at the 2018 event. All the staff of FIFA will get the phone and will use it during the World Cup in Russia that will happen next year between June 14 and July 15. The smartphone was unveiled at a event held in Moscow, Russia ahead of the World Cup draw.
The Vivo X20 FIFA World Cup edition comes with the same specifications and design like the base Vivo X20, except that the official World Cup logo is printed on the rear side of the special variant. We are still not sure whether the special variant would come with FIFA World Cup themed wallpapers or not.
The Vivo X20 FIFA World Cup edition is not the first special variant that the company has launched for its Vivo X20. Earlier, Vivo had launched the Vivo X20 King of Glory edition which will go on sale starting from December 8 with a price tag of 3,498 Yuan. Coming to the Vivo X20 specifications, the device comes with a 6.01-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and gives 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by a 2.5D curved glass. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and also has an Adreno 512 GPU. On the rear side, it carries dual camera setup and comes with a 12MP+ 5MP dual camera along with LED flash. On the front side, it carries a 12MP camera and soft LED flash.
