There are already rumors states that Samsung may launch its upcoming Galaxy S9 smartphone at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in LA next year. A few days ago the device had spotted on GeekBench website and with some expected specifications and features. Now some leaked images of the device have recently spotted online. Along with that, a 360 degree renders of the device also surfaced online revealing the design of the upcoming Galaxy S9.
As per the report, the new images are factory CAD images. A per the new renders, the device will have a 5.65inch display, and its size will be 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4mm. If compared with the Galaxy S8, the device carries a 5.8inches AMOLED display. So the display of the upcoming Galaxy S9 is smaller than the Galaxy S8. However, the display design will be the same that means the device will carry curved display. The display will be curved towards the right and left edges.
There is a major drawback in the Galaxy S8, i.e., the position of the fingerprint scanner. Now, the company has solved the issue by changing the fingerprint sensor position. It is now moved below the camera. The Galaxy S9 will come with a 3.5mm audio jack, the iris scanner, USB type-C port and more. It has also got the IP68 rating.
It may be noted that the global version of the Galaxy S9 had spotted on Geekbench carrying the model number SM-G960F. The listing had informed that the device is powered by the Exynos 9 series 9810 chipset and will come with 4 GB of RAM. It is said that the device also has a 3rd generation CPU cores and an advanced GPU version. It may come with Mali G72. The device will feature Gigabit speed on LTE. It will run on Android Oreo. As per the report, the U.S. version of the Galaxy S9 may come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform.
