The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) smartphone was spotted just a week ago sporting dual cameras. And now, the Galaxy A8 (2018) Plus variant has surfaced online for the first time revealing the phone may feature a large and nearly bezel-less display.
As per the two leaked images of the phone shared by a Weibo user, the A8 Plus (2018), with a model number SM-A730F/DS, will mostly come with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The phone will mostly come with less bezels but cannot be called as a bezel less phone like he Samsung’s recent Note 8 and Galaxy S8 flagship.
The leaked images reveal that the Galaxy A8 Plus variant may feature dual front cameras. The rear camera is expected to be of 16 mega pixel while the front camera may feature a 16 mega pixel camera. Besides this, the phone is mostly going to be powered by an Exynos 7885 Octa-Core processor that will run on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat mostly. In the storage front, the phone may come with 4GB of RAM ad 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) was previously seen sporting very thin bezels and a 5.7 inch touchscreen display in the leaked images. The A8 (2018) will mostly come with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a dual selfie cameras.
Notably, as per the Dutch website LETSGODIGITAL, Samsung has filed patents which shows that the company is looking forward to build a pure bezel-less smartphone with no notch, no top, bottom and side bezels. There will only be a display in the front side. One of the patents filed by the company dated May 2017 shows how Samsung will develop the truly bezel-less phone by bending the display with 180 degrees angle and stretching it till the rear side of the phone. There is still a suspense element for us now as to when Samsung would be releasing such a phone given the fact that it already has its hands full with many smartphone launches for the year 2018.
