Samsung J-series is one of the strongest performing smartphones in the market. And now, as per a new listing spotted on the GFXBench, the key specs of the SM-J337, most likely the upcoming Samsung device Galaxy J3 (2018) that may be launched earlier in 2018, have been revealed. It is said that the device will run on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box OS.
Talking about the specifications of the phone, the device listed on the GFXBench reveals that the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) will feature a 5 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels and no 18:9 widescreen display like other Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones. It is said that the device will be powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core Exynos 7570 processor. There is a pretty modern Mali-G71 that provides the graphics power.
The Galaxy J3 (2018) comes with only four Cortex-A53 cores. The phone comes with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage of which the user will be able to use about 9GB. It is a budget device that comes at a reasonable price. The rear camera of the phone comes with 8 mega pixel sensors and can record 1080p video. On the other hand, the front camera comes with a 5 mega pixel sensor for selfies and also records 1080p videos.
The other features listed on the GFXBench reveals that the device will support sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is said to support one SIM card, NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The Galaxy J3 (2017) on the other hand comes with the same 5 inch display. In the camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel back camera with a 5 mega pixel front camera. It is backed by a 2,400 mAh battery that provides 15 hours of talk time and about 61 hours of music playback.
