Pixel 2 XL Users Complaining About ‘Missing Operating System’ on New Units

Google, has introduced its best smartphone Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL recently. The device is well known for some of its major specifications. Besides that, both the devices have also received much negative feedback from the users.  The company has been facing a lot of issues since the release of the devices. First, some users complained that they are getting issues regarding its display and then some also reported that Pixel 2 is giving a hissing sound during calls and other activities. While the company is busy in dealing with these issues, the company has faced a new issue.

As per the latest report, some of the users have got Pixel 2 XL without OS, and the units are shipped without a proper Android system. It is still not clear why and how this is happening, but some of the Reddit users informed that they are facing such kind of issues. They can’t use their devices as the phone can’t boot without a valid Android OS. When they turned on their device, it shows a message stating “Can’t find valid operating system. The device will not start. Visit this link on another device:”

This problem was first reported by a user few days back, and now other buyers received a device having the same problem. On the other side, Google has advised the customers who have received the device having no OS, they can contact Google, and they can return the device for which the company will give them a new device.

A few days ago, when the users reported about display issues, Google has answered there questions and informed that the company would soon release software updates which will fix the display issues. Along with that the company also extended the warranty period of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL from one year to two years.
