Adding one more new product in its Eluga family, Panasonic India has recently launched its new smartphone named Panasonic Eluga I9. The major highlight of the device is, it comes with a 2.5D curved glass and is priced under the mid-range category.
Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said that “Eluga I9 fits perfectly into the user’s hands and is a blend of great style, powerful performance, and quality entertainment experience. It provides the user with different and interesting camera modes which allow the user to add fun to their pictures.”
Talking about its features and specifications, the device comes with a 5-inch HD display, and it gives 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. On the top of the screen, it has a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it carries a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with the Mali-T720 GPU. It seems that the device will work good for mid-level games and give good performance for multitasking. It has a 3GB RAM and offers 32GB internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
Under camera configuration, the device comes with a 13MP rear camera supported by an LED flash. It offers f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device has a 5MP front-facing camera, and it supports f/2.4 aperture.
The Eluga I9 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM, i.e., Micro + nano/microSD. Under the connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. It carries a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. Its size is 142.5×70.5×7.3mm and weighs around 143g. The Eluga I9 comes with Arbo, an artificial assistant developed by Panasonic. It helps to track the user’s routine and help the user to plan their day by giving suggestions based on users usage pattern. The device will be available in three color variants, i.e., space grey, champagne gold and blue colors
The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,499 and will go on sale from 15th December. It will be a Flipkart exclusive.
