After giving some premium and mid-level smartphones to the users, the Chinese mobile company Oppo is now planning to introduce an entry-level smartphone. A few days ago Oppo launched its A-series smartphone named the Oppo A79. Now a new report has suggested that the company will soon introduce another A series smartphone named the Oppo A83.
The information about this came to the front after the device was found listed on TENAA, the Chinese certification authority. As the device has got its TENAA certification, it is now cleared the device will be launched in China market.
Now coming to its specification and features, the device comes with a 5.7-inch multi-touch display. With 18:9 aspect ratio display the device will give 1440 x 720-pixel resolution. It is expected that the device will carry a full-screen design.
As per the listing, under the hood, the device is carrying a 2.5GHz Octa-Core processor but which chip-set it is carrying is still unknown. It has a 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB using a Micro SD card.
Talking about the camera configuration, the device will have a 13 MP camera on its rear side and the front the device will carry an 8MP camera. The rear camera will be supported by an LED flash. The device will run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 along with the Oppo’s UI skin.
Under the connectivity section, it will come with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth and more. It will have the Ambient light sensor, distance sensor, gravity sensor, etc. The Oppo A83 measures 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm and weighs around 143 grams. The Oppo A83 is backed by a 3090mAh battery. As per the report, the device will come with two color variant, i.e., Black and Gold.
