Adding some new features, OnePlus has recently the Open Beta 1 of Oxygen OS for its OnePlus 5 smartphone. This update comes with Android Oreo, and some also have some major features. The new update includes some changes in UI and new android framework.

How to install the new Open Beta 1 update
In the official blog, the company has given some instructions about the installation process. As per the company, as it is a beta version it may not work properly, so the company has advised doing a complete back up of the current OS. First, the users need to download the update package from the official site. It will be around 1.3GB. After that, they need to transfer the file to the device storage, i.e., internal storage.
After that, turn off the device and turn on its while pressing power and volume down button simultaneously. It will now enter into recovery mode. In the recovery section, the users can find an option mentioning Install From Local. Tap on that and choose the update package. The device will now start installing it. It will take some time. Once it gets completed, the users again need to boot into recovery mode. Then tap on Wipe data cache and erase everything. After its get done, restart the device. That’s it.
Earlier, the company had released Android Oreo-based Oxygen OS 5.0 update for its two devices, i.e., OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Now the OnePlus 5 has got the update.
