OnePlus 3, 3T New Open Beta 27, 18 Brings Upgraded DnD UI & Bugs Removal

To give the best experience of new Android Oreo OnePlus has released a new Open beta update for its two devices named the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T. As per the report, the new update enhances the performance of the device. OnePlus is now trying to make tit device more stable and better.

The new update comes with New UI for Do Not Disturb. It will optimize the standby time of the battery and will give more battery life. It comes with smart text selection improvement. It will improve general performance of the device and will give smoother users experience. It comes with updated OnePlus and GMS applications. After the update, the users will get the latest security patch from OnePlus as it comes with October 2017 Google Security Patch. The update is released in November. It was expected that the company would provide November security patch. It seems that the users have to manage with the October security patch. It also comes with other bug fixes and minor optimizations.

However, to know about the update and flashing process, the users can visit OnePlus website. As per information given on the website, the users must have the Original Oxygen OS and also have the Original OnePlus 3/3T Oxygen Recovery.

Here is the flashing process-

  1. Download the software build for your device at the bottom of this page. Make sure you have all necessary adb files installed on your computer.
  2. Reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.
  3. Choose “Install from USB” option on the recovery screen, tap OK to confirm. A screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed.
  4. Connect your device to PC/Mac, run following command prompt / terminal. For Windows: “adb sideload <filename>” For Mac/Linux: “/adb sideload <filename>”

That’s it. The device will now update to the latest version, and it will reboot automatically into Oxygen OS.
