Micromax launched the successor phone of the Canvas Infinity phone, the Canvas Infinity Pro today in India at a price tag of Rs 13,999. The Canvas Infinity Pro, just like the Canvas Infinity comes with great design and camera features. The major highlight of the phone is its unusual display that comes with 18:9 aspect ratio screen as against 16:9 ratio.
While the other premium phones from Samsung and Apple like the Galaxy S8 and the iPhone X cost Rs 60,000 and Rs 89,000 respectively, the aggressive pricing of the Canvas Infinity Pro brings with the edge-to-edge screen. The 18:9 aspect ratio and edge-to-edge screen design of the smartphone make it more appealing. Talking about the specifications of the phone, the Micromax Infinity Pro comes with a 5.7 inch display. Also, the company has made the phone a little bezel less, stretching the screen of the on all sides. The phone features a 2.5D curved glass in the front along with subtle curves on the rear side.
In the storage front, the device comes with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which the user will be able to expand up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC that runs on Android Nougat OS. In the camera font, the Infinity Pro sports a 16 mega pixel camera in the rear side along with LED flash while in the front, the device sports two camera sensors of 20 mega pixel and 8 mega pixel. There is a finger print sensor placed in the rear side of the phone as well. The Infinity Pro is equipped with a 3000mAh battery that the company claims will deliver 20 hours of talk time or 420 hours of standby time in a single charge.
While the earlier Micromax Infinity model featured a single front shooter, the one thing that makes the Infinity Pro distinct from the earlier model is its dual selfie camera which the company has provided in the new model.
