The smartphone maker Lenovo will soon introduce its all-new smartphone. The newly leaked information has given a hint on this. It seems that Lenovo has been started working on it. The information came to the front after Lenovo’s new device carrying the model number K520 recently spotted on a benchmarking website, Geekbench. Looking into the model number, it can say that the device will come under Lenovo K series smartphones, but it will come with change. Lenovo recently launched it two K-series devices named Lenovo K8 and Lenovo K8 Plus and both are powered by the MediaTek chipset. But as per the Geekbench listing, the new Lenovo K520 is powered by a Qualcomm processor which is a big change in the device.
As per the report, the Lenovo K520 carries the Qualcomm MSM8953 chipset, which will be the Snapdragon 625 mid-range silicon built on a 14nm LPP process. Along with this, the device will feature an eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU which will give up to 2.0GHz clock speed. There will be the Adreno 506 graphics chip. The device will come with a 4GB of RAM from which only 3.6GB available to the user.
Coming to its scores, the Lenovo K520 has scored 933 points in the single-core tests and acquired 5,370 points in the multi-core benchmarks. The device will run on Android Oreo 8.0.0.
Looking into the given information, the Lenovo K520 might be the sequel of the K6 series which was launched in 2016. The K6 also powered by a mid-range SoC, i.e., a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and it carries a 16:9 aspect ratio FHD display. So it is expected that the device will come with an 18:9 aspect ratio display as it is the recent trend. The device will be priced under mid-range category may be below $500. The user will have to wait for some more days to get a clear idea of the device.
