Asus has already confirmed that its devices, the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 4 will receive the latest Android Oreo update soon. And now, some leaked screenshots of the ZenFone 3 receiving the Android Oreo update have surfaced online which gives a slight glimpse of what the upcoming software update would like in the phone.
As per the screenshot updates by ZenFoneBlog, the user interface of the Oreo update in the ZenFone 3 looks slightly similar to what we have seen in the other ZenUI. The app icons and the Setting menu remain the same. But the blog mentions that the ZenFone 3 will receive most of the features in the Android Oreo update like the picture-in-picture mode, improved background app and new notification updates.
The Android Oreo update brings along the picture-in-picture mode which lets the user to do two tasks simultaneously. For instance, one can minimise a Youtube video while sending a text message. Other features that come with the Oreo update includes Background limits, installation of apps via APK, more than 60 new emojis, notification dots, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and some more.
Notably, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) is the latest smartphone by the company to sport a 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Talking about the specifications of the phone, the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) will feature a 5.7 inch full screen display with 2160 xx 1080 pixels of resolution and 2.45D curved glass. The phone will be powered by MediaTek MT6750T Octa-Core processor with Mali T8600 GPU. In terms of storage, the phone will come with be available in two options- one with 2GB of RAM and 16G of internal storage while the other will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, there are still no details available about the price and availability of the phone till now.
