At the launch event held in London on Tuesday, Huawei subsidiary brand Honor launched the Honor View 10 for its global audience and alongside also launched the Honor 7X in India. The company said at the launch event the Honor View 10 will be launched in India on January 8. It may be noted that the Honor View 10 is the rebranded version of the Honor V10, a mid-range smartphone that was launched in China last week.
The Honor View price starts at EUR 499, which is roughly Rs 38,000 and GBP 499, which is roughly Rs 38,900. However, the price of the phone in India has not yet been revealed by the company. The phone will be made available in countries like India, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, The UK and the US on January 8.
Talking about the specifications of the phone, the Honor View 10 comes with a 5.99 inch full-HD+ IPS LCD FullView display with 10280 x 2160 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The device runs on HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC that runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. The Honor View 10 sports two rear cameras of 16 mega pixel and 20 mega pixel along with dual LED flash set up. In the front, the device sports a 13 mega pixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is powered by a 3750mAh battery. In terms of storage, the smartphone sports 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The other connectivity options in the Honor View 10 include 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Infrared, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensors in the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope and a proximity sensor. The finger print sensor in the phone is embedded in the physical home button in the front of the phone.
