Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor has officially announced that the Honor 7X will be available in India starting next week. The phone will be available for sale via Amazon India at 12pm IST On December 7. Notably, few days ago the company had revealed that it is all set to launch the much anticipated Honor 7X smartphone in India on December 5. The Chinese company will hold the launch event in London where the phone would be announced.
The Honor 7X was available for registrations via Amazon India in the month of November. In order to lure the customers to buy the smartphone, Amazon is offering a deal in which ten lucky winners will get the Honor 7X smartphone for free. Besides this, some of the selected Amazon customers will also get 10,000mAh powered 150 power banks and 850 earphones from Honor. Also, a bumper prize of holiday packages worth Rs 75,000 from Yatra will be given out to seven registered Amazon.in users.
It may be noted that the Honor 7X is already launched in China. The device is the successor model of the Honor 6X. The Honor 7X features a 5.93 inch Full HD display. It is powered by Honor’s own Kirin 659 processor that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. the device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal memory options. But one will have to see if the smartphone launched in India will be available in these three storage options or not.
In China, the price of the 32GB Honor 7X phone is 1,299 Yuan which is roughly Rs 12,900 while the 64GB variant is priced at 1,700 Yuan which is roughly Rs 17,000. The high-end 128GB version is priced at 1,999 Yuan which is about Rs 20,000. So it can be said that the Honor 7X might be a mid-range smartphone in India.
The other specifications of the phone include a 16 mega pixel and 2 mega pixel dual rear camera set up along with an 8 mega pixel front camera. The device is backed by a 3340mAh battery.
