After became a licensee for the Nokia, HMD Global’s first released Android smartphone was the Nokia 6. After that HMD Global has been introduced to the Nokia, smartphone model. However, the Nokia 6 will be a year old, and it’s time to announce the successor of the device. Now, a newly leaked information has revealed that the company will soon introduce the successor of the Nokia 6. It is also said that the company has started working on it.
The leaked images were spotted on Baidu. The images show some information about the 2nd generation Nokia 6 and also reveals about the RAM and ROM configuration of the device. As per the image, the device carries the model number TA-1054, but the model number will change with the market.
It may be noted that the same model number was first spotted on China’s Communication Commission and that time it was expected that it would be the Nokia 9. Now, the leaked image has confirmed that the model number is for the new Nokia 6.
The image shows, the model will have a 4GB of RAM and will offer 32 GB of internal storage. The configuration will vary with different markets. It is also expected that the device will also come with a 3 GB RAM variant and a 4GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant.
As per the sources, the body design of the device will be a sturdy and durable like the old Nokia 6 has but will have a redesigned body. The chins of the device will come smaller giving more space to fit a large display, which means the device will come with a full-screen display. The fingerprint scanner will be fitted on the back so that the device can get the on-screen navigation buttons. The expected processor of the device will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The image also shows the model numbers of the Nokia 9 with model numbers TA-1005, TA-1009, and TA-1042.
