2018 iPhone Models Will Come With More Powerful Batteries: Report

Larger the battery, more power it will give. The same thing is going to happen with Apple’s all 2018 iPhone model. A new report has stated that Apple is planning to bring L-shaped battery design to its upcoming iPhones. The renowned KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that the company will use the L-shaped battery to its 2018 6.5 inch and 5.8 inch OLED iPhones and due to its L-shaped, it will come with larger side giving it’s more capacity and improved battery life.

The recently launched iPhone X also carries the same L-shaped battery. Now Apple is planning to enhance the battery technology, and it will be larger than the previous L-shaped battery. Kuo has also predicted that the new battery will come with both the devices.

iPhone X is carrying a 2716mAh battery. Now it has predicted that the 5.6 inch 2018 iPhone may come with 2,900mAh or 3,000mAh battery. That means the users will get 10 percent more power.

KGI informed that the 6.2 inch TFT LCD device would likely to come with the rectangular battery design. It will help the company to reduce the cost, but the battery will also come with increased capacity.

It may be noted that a few days back Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted that in 2018 Apple would launch three new iPhone models: i.e., a 6.5-inch and 5.8- inch OLED models and a 6.1-inch TFT-LCD model. All the model will come with the full-screen display design and TrueDepth Camera to proved the face unlock feature.

The report also says, among those three devices one will come with the OLED display like the iPhone X and with the 6.2-inch screen that will be a super-sized iPhone X model. The high-end category devices will have the edge-to-edge to screen and also have the facial recognition camera and Face ID. On the low-end category, the device will have a 6.1 inch LCD screen with little lower resolution than the OLED screen.
